The heat wave continues this weekend, so get out to the Winecoff and Rotary Square Farmers Markets on Saturday morning before the temperatures climb. Here is what is happening.
On Saturday, a huge pop-up market will take place on Union Street in Downtown Concord. There will be 63 local vendors on hand selling their goods. Stop by our Rotary Square Market from 9-12 if you’re nearby.
Miller & Sons Produce will have both silver king and bi-color corn, string-less beans and half runners. Their first egg plants of the season. A variety of peppers from their garden, as well as all other summer veggies and SC peaches.
Street Fare Farm tells us they will have lettuce mix, squash, zucchini, cucumbers, beets, carrots, turnips, microgreens, and eggs at Winecoff.
Shell-Belle Farm will have zucchini, tomatoes, farmer’s choice herb bundles, radishes, turnips and various peppers and red skin potatoes at the Winecoff Market.
Honeysuckle Bee Farm is excited to open a new honey tasting bar, featuring monoflowerial honey at the Winecoff Market on Saturday. The bar features eight varietals of raw, unfiltered honey, each with their own distinct color and flavor which is naturally produced by the nectar of that specific plant. Like a wine tasting bar, you will be able to enjoy nature’s unique gifts. Also, they’ve harvested their Spring pull for those wanting local honey.
On Monday and Tuesday, the flavors offered by the aromatic Curt’s Kettle Corn will have kettle, butter, Patriotic Pop (blue raspberry & strawberry mix), honey sriracha (sweet heat), dill pickle, cinnamon toast, and cheddar cheese flavors.
On Saturday, the Winecoff Market will be open from 8-12, and Rotary Square takes place from 9-12. The Harrisburg Market is open on Monday from 3-6. Rotary Square will be open again on Tuesday from 10-1.
We’ll see you at the markets!
