About

The market was created to serve the community by providing locally grown, fresh, high-quality produce and products, and to provide an economic outlet for local farmers, producers, and artisans in Cabarrus and surrounding counties of North Carolina’s Piedmont. By supporting your local farmer you also support your local economy, local green space, and reduce our dependence on foreign oil.

At our farmers market, we are fortunate to have a dedicated group of board members who generously volunteer their time and expertise to ensure the market runs smoothly. They are passionate about supporting local farmers and vendors. It’s important to understand that these board members are not full-time staff members; they have their own professions and commitments outside of the market. Despite their busy schedules, they selflessly devote their time and effort to organize and manage the market. This volunteer-driven approach allows us to keep our costs low, ensuring that more resources go directly towards supporting local farmer, small businesses and providing a vibrant community space. So, if you ever need assistance or have any inquiries, please keep in mind that the board members contribute their time on a voluntary basis, and we greatly appreciate their dedication to our farmers market.

Our Winecoff Market is open year-round on Saturday mornings. We have two additional seasonal markets in Harrisburg and downtown Concord.
