Here is what’s fresh at this week’s Piedmont Farmers Market – March 30th

Spring has arrived in the Carolinas! While it’s still be bit early to pick up your herbs and vegetable plants from our vendors for your home Spring gardens, this week’s Piedmont Farmers Market is will have a wide array of grass-fed meats, locally grown poultry and fresh fish and yes the Spring greens and other early vegetables will be available to pick on Saturday.

Wow the forecast is for a beautiful and warm Saturday. Here’s what’s happening on Saturday, March 30th!

Winecoff School Rd. Market 9-12 on Saturday Morning

The Cafe at Better Loafing will have freshly made treats including her Keto and Paleo friendly options. All her treats are so yummy.

Street Fare Farm will have early spring vegetables including baby kale, spinach, arugula, radishes, eggs and microgreens.

Honeycutt Woodcraft will have a selection of handmade pieces unique & perfect for Easter baskets! Small basket is $30 and the large is $40.

Curt’s Kettle Corn will be popping Kettle, Butter, Caramel, Cheddar, Lucky Apple, and Dill Pickle flavors of their delicious popcorn.

At Honeysuckle Bee Farm, you will find Ceylon Cinnamon, bee pollen, honey and creamed honeys. Some of the best allergy fighters you will ever taste! Also, there is maple syrup, veggie soup base, and past sauce for your meal planning.

Lucky Fish Seafood lists NC Rainbow Trout, VA Wild John Dory, NC Wild Spanish Mackerel, NC Wild Red Snapper, NC Wild Striped Bass, AK Wild Halibut, Gulf Swordfish, Gulf Wild Yellowfin Tuna and Norwegian Steelhead Salmon. As always they will also have Dry Packed Sea Scallops and NC IQF Frozen White Shrimp for this weekend. Get it early because last week they sold out!

Sarah with SGH Landscape Photography will have her amazing array of beautiful photography prints for sale.

Queen City Greens will have unique collection of herbs for your home garden and those amazing loose-leaf teas! Be sure to stop in and smell her Cuban Oregano plants.

Tranquility Farm will offer their collection of Blackberry Cider, Muscadine Grape Cider and Scuppernong Cider.

Kathryn’s Cottage will offer her amazing Chicken Salad, Pimento Cheese spread and other spreads, dips. She also has some delicious cookie doughs to take home for the family this weekend.

Remember, due to food safety regulations, pets are not permitted at the market.
